21 weeks! got to go shopping this weekend

Well I haven't taken my belly shots yet this week, maybe later if I can, I start my new job tomorrow and I'm super excited, it's going to be weird working day shift, since I've worked nights forever!

We had our Valentine's dinner on Saturday night since we both worked on Valentines night and I had David take a picture in my new dress that my mom wanted to see, very cute, look at that bump, wow has she grown, but It's scary how much I think I look like Shelly in the picture, totally not a bad thing obviously but its weird since I never thought I looked liked any of my siblings and this past year I've noticed a resemblance to Shelly

David and I went to a movie on Sunday and I could feel the baby kicking me like crazy, more than ever, she must of liked the movie, I was jumping all through the movie from all the kicks

then we got to go shopping, we registered at some stores for the baby shower, even though we had no clue what we were getting or needed to get, so if your out there and your reading this, please excuse our registry list if it isn't like it should be and if you know of something better by experience by all means choose yourself :0)

Then went to Ikea to get the crib and dresser and a rug and some decorative accessories, lets see if I can get some pix for you, the furniture matches the same line of furniture we already have in the room, that was our basis for choosing this, and well its Ikea and its cheap


no bumper pad though, do people use these, I heard they are not safe, any comments?
I also got a pink striped dust ruffle to match from Target on clearance for $4.woohoo


Here is the lamp that David picked out and them some lights to hang on the wall behind the furniture, very cute in person

this is a very pretty rug, that I hope matches because I like it a lot, its a good size 3'11 x 5'3 and was a decent price for a well made rug


I really wanted this lamp but David didn't like it, he picked out the pink and green plastic one instead :0(

oh sorry makes me wanna sing Bon Jovi, I mean were halfway there with our pregnancy, celebrating 20 weeks of pregnancy over here this week

well looks like the votes were correct, 85% said its a girl and yep it is, totally all girl, nothing there
we got a couple pix from our doctors appointment last week that I want to share and took some 20 week belly shots on Monday.

I'm feeling little movements and kicks here and there, not to frequently, just randomly, most of the time its after I eat or drink something

I can't wait buy girl stuff. I bought my plane ticket for the baby shower which will more than likely be on April 5th and we plan to go register and get the crib in the next week or two

I start my new job in a week, this is my last week where I am now, its sad because I really like working there and the friends I've made but I'm so excited about not driving so far, especially in this crazy city

David and I have been discussing girl names and well I know what I want I just can't seem to convince him that he wants it too, I really love the name Ruby for a girl and that would be my first pick but I'm not sure David will go with it, what a loser right, just kidding, I'm sure we we will find some way to pick a name we both want, I should be getting the middle name either way, just cause I have to

but since you already know its a girl, we think we will keep the name a surprise, just for fun! but please don't hesitate to give us some ideas, we need all the help we can get

for those who are confused about the title of my last post
the doctors like to say girls have what looks like a hamburger and boys have what looks like a hotdog, apparently this is a picture of the hamburger

so here I am in the normal pictures, where David says I'm not allowed to wear anything else, but I don't think it does much for me, so I decided to also take pix of me in my regular clothes, so you can see the real difference, so here you can look at the blob that is my stomach now in yoga pants

and well since I'm at the halfway mark I thought I would post a collage of all the belly shot from the beginning to now




lastly I just wanted to mention my dad! he is missed greatly and its unfortunate he can't be here with me to share in all the good news! I can't believe today it has been 9 years since he's past. But I know he is always here with me in his own way and I'm sure he is very happy for me

week 19

looks like I got 3 girl votes so far, only 3 more days, keep voting!!

I got an U/S at work last Friday to try and sneak a peak at the boy or girl parts, but we weren't in the right position so she couldnt tell me yet. I have my dr.s appt on friday so hopefully we can tell there

I took more pix and video on my cell phone, photobucket is down right now so I cant load them or the belly shots this week but I cant put the video up




I might be able to try blogspot photo hosting for now, lets see if it works, looks good






oooh fun belly shots, still looks like a blob, I think its the pants, David wont let me change, he says I have to wear the same thing the whole time, well it looks better in person

and thats it.

I have been getting up 2 -3 times a night to pee, yay fun, see that foot kicking my bladder on the video. ya.

yesterday I was feeling what I thought were little kicks while sitting on the couch, I laid back a little and watched my belly and I swear for 2 of the "kicks" I saw my belly move (bounce) a little bit, so cool

18 weeks, almost halfway there

I have been so lazy, so not to active on here, I need to get it together

We missed week 16 pix but we did take week 17 pix so here they are

eww I look fat.... sometimes at night when I wake from my always full bladder if I feel my stomach just under my belly button, its hard as a rock, I assume that is my uterus being forced up by my bladder

and about this whole full bladder thing, I have no idea how I am going to handle it when its gets worse, because I am so annoyed at the fact that my bladder ALWAYS feel full. but yet so little comes out at a time, what am I gonna do

no pix since the last one. Our big U/S date is Feb 8th, where we get to find out the sex!!! woohoo, will we be Team Pink or Blue... what do you think??

Week 15 ish

I finally got over my yucky cold and feel much better, we took some new pix this morning, I think I'm in week 15, the U/S I had last Friday at work would put me at 16 weeks today though.

my appetite seems to be back to normal, I'm not as ferocious anymore, but the last 2 days my bbs have been extra sore, still not feeling anything yet, I expect that to come later since this is my first pregnancy

We bought a new desk for the spare room so we can rearrange the furniture and make room for baby stuff, its exciting, but this room is a huge mess right now, I have a lot of work to do a and a lot of things to get rid of to make more room

like I said I had an U/S at work last friday and it was super cool since now you can see all the bones, the fingers, we could even see the 2 individual bones in the forearm way cool

I took more video and pictures, but the baby was in a weird position and they dont really look like much of anything, just blobs on the screen, I'll put the videos up though so you can see a little and some pix

here you can kind of see the spine and ribs, with the head and neck to the left

this is the measurements she did to calculate age, the picture is when she measured the femur, she also measured the head and abdomen

this was when she measure the heart rate 150 bpm

Here is the first video, another girl I work with was scanning me, thats her talking, we got to use the machine ourselves, so we aren't experts and the pictures aren't great, but you can see the arms and legs moving, the pictures are at angle like your looking down on its head from above

here you can see a little hand/fingers towards the bottom left

Checking in at 14 weeks

Wanted to check it with new pix and measurements
I am approx. 14 weeks now

I had sore throat last week and the doctor thought I caught a virus going around, which then evolved into lots of congestion, coughing, sneezing, and a very irritated throat, not sleeping very well, it worse at night, so I bought a humidifier, but it didn't help any last night

last week I weighed 139, today I weighed 136.8
measurement just below belly button was 34 inches

wow all the pictures we just took with the digital camera just disappeared when I put the card in the computer to load them, like they were never there...



ugh look at that belly
