1 more month, holy moly

Just a quick post that today is June 2nd and my due date is July 2nd, wow!

heres how she looks at 36 weeks

32 weeks today.... thats 8 MONTHS!

I have been forgetful and tired and lazy so I haven't posted in a while

I've been suffering from the carpal tunnel all the time and now crazy swollen feet have started this weekend

My finger tips are numb as I type this and I feel my left foot getting bigger so I won't write much...here are the last few weeks of belly shots




I've been having my doctors appointments every 2 weeks now, I passed my 3 hour glucose test

I'm flying back to VA next weekend for a wedding I'm going to be a bridesmaid in, can't wait to show those pix off, I had to buy a dress twice my normal size and then have the chest taken in to fit, well see how that goes. I bought some black flip flops to wear under the dress, since it's floor length and you wont see them and well I can't wear anything else other than flip flops now anyway

I've been washing and folding baby clothes today, I have to figure out a way to keep them organized by size and types, if I can

Once that gets organize I'll post a pic so you can see what I've done

Hopefully we can get rid of some of the furniture soon in the babys room so I can actually start setting everything up to look like a real nursery, we need to get moving quick, only 8 more weeks left

25, 26, and 27 weeks oh my!

I'm behind and few weeks, but looks like my mom is the only one to leave comments so I guess not to many people are checking me out, huh? where are your comments people

Well here are the last 2 weeks of belly shots, 25 and 26 weeks, we will have to take the 27 week shots tomorrow

I feel like my belly has doubled its size in the last month, definitely looking preggo now
My newest symptoms are legs cramps and numb hands when I sleep at night, my right hand is worse, I guess I'm getting carpal tunnel from the fluid and weight gain, my doctor didn't seem concerned at all saying it was completely normal, but my sleep is suffering

here is a cute little photo of me at 25 weeks before we went out to dinner one night, I think I'm much bigger now

I have my baby shower next weekend, I am so excited I can't wait to see all the the cute little girl stuff, I'm flying to Virginia to have one with my family and friends, speaking of little girls, we had a triple confirmation that we are 300% having a girl...

David treated us to a 3D U/S today, Surprise!! it was soooo freaking awesome. She is so cute and we got a bunch of pix on CD that won't work in our computer right now, argh! and a DVD that I will go pick up on Wednesday. Here are some of the pix she printed for us, my scanner is not very good here so they look a little more distorted quality wise than they do in person

It was very difficult to get her hands out of the way, she has always had her hands by her head at every U/S I've had, and she kept her little hand over her mouth almost the whole time, so we had to poke her to get her to move it out of the way

We have over 50 more photos on a disk, but we need to buy a new cd drive so I can open them on the computer

We saw her open her eyes and open her mouth, smile a little, and stretch and move around
In the beginning the tech was worried she wouldn't get a shot of her face because she had her face smooshed into my placenta. According to her babies like to suck on it because it can sort of taste like whatever I eat, I've never heard of that. Anyone else?

It was amazing to see her look so real! Hopefully we can get some video of it on here soon

24 weeks more US pix

Well I lied, I never came back to write anything last week

I believe I am in my 24th week, so that month 6 out of 10. woohoo

I got a nice little surprise at my door last week my sisters sent me a gift from my registry so I wouldn't have to take it back on the plane... check it out

I also got a serger/sewer machine at the same time. what fun, now I have to get to sewing

I've noticed in the last month, how cool it was that when I laid down my stomach stayed up, never seen that before, so I had David take a picture of me laying on the couch a couple weeks ago, check it out

pretty cool huh!

David surprised me last weekend and took me out to dinner, and off course I wanted to dress up since all I ever wear in scrubs and sweatpants, so here is my belly shot this week, we forgot the regulars so we will have to do those next weekend

I've been doing a little knitting here and there, I'm so excited i get to knit for a girl so much more, fun, but my pregnancy ADD is getting the best of me, but I did manage to knit this up this weekend, still have to finish the other leg and add the embellishments, but how cute is this

I found a person who makes these and they are really expensive, so I printed that picture and have manage to copy it quite well I think, still needs the eyes, but pretty good huh!

And last but not least, we had an appointment yesterday and were surprised when the Dr. said hey the machine is on, lets go ahead and take a look, sweet, so here are some pix from that

and there was one last peek at the legs and its definitely a girl, I saw the 3 lines for sure this time, there is no mistaken this chick!

23 weeks, whoa! how time flies

21 weeks! got to go shopping this weekend

Well I haven't taken my belly shots yet this week, maybe later if I can, I start my new job tomorrow and I'm super excited, it's going to be weird working day shift, since I've worked nights forever!

We had our Valentine's dinner on Saturday night since we both worked on Valentines night and I had David take a picture in my new dress that my mom wanted to see, very cute, look at that bump, wow has she grown, but It's scary how much I think I look like Shelly in the picture, totally not a bad thing obviously but its weird since I never thought I looked liked any of my siblings and this past year I've noticed a resemblance to Shelly

David and I went to a movie on Sunday and I could feel the baby kicking me like crazy, more than ever, she must of liked the movie, I was jumping all through the movie from all the kicks

then we got to go shopping, we registered at some stores for the baby shower, even though we had no clue what we were getting or needed to get, so if your out there and your reading this, please excuse our registry list if it isn't like it should be and if you know of something better by experience by all means choose yourself :0)

Then went to Ikea to get the crib and dresser and a rug and some decorative accessories, lets see if I can get some pix for you, the furniture matches the same line of furniture we already have in the room, that was our basis for choosing this, and well its Ikea and its cheap


no bumper pad though, do people use these, I heard they are not safe, any comments?
I also got a pink striped dust ruffle to match from Target on clearance for $4.woohoo


Here is the lamp that David picked out and them some lights to hang on the wall behind the furniture, very cute in person

this is a very pretty rug, that I hope matches because I like it a lot, its a good size 3'11 x 5'3 and was a decent price for a well made rug


I really wanted this lamp but David didn't like it, he picked out the pink and green plastic one instead :0(

oh sorry makes me wanna sing Bon Jovi, I mean were halfway there with our pregnancy, celebrating 20 weeks of pregnancy over here this week

well looks like the votes were correct, 85% said its a girl and yep it is, totally all girl, nothing there
we got a couple pix from our doctors appointment last week that I want to share and took some 20 week belly shots on Monday.

I'm feeling little movements and kicks here and there, not to frequently, just randomly, most of the time its after I eat or drink something

I can't wait buy girl stuff. I bought my plane ticket for the baby shower which will more than likely be on April 5th and we plan to go register and get the crib in the next week or two

I start my new job in a week, this is my last week where I am now, its sad because I really like working there and the friends I've made but I'm so excited about not driving so far, especially in this crazy city

David and I have been discussing girl names and well I know what I want I just can't seem to convince him that he wants it too, I really love the name Ruby for a girl and that would be my first pick but I'm not sure David will go with it, what a loser right, just kidding, I'm sure we we will find some way to pick a name we both want, I should be getting the middle name either way, just cause I have to

but since you already know its a girl, we think we will keep the name a surprise, just for fun! but please don't hesitate to give us some ideas, we need all the help we can get

for those who are confused about the title of my last post
the doctors like to say girls have what looks like a hamburger and boys have what looks like a hotdog, apparently this is a picture of the hamburger

so here I am in the normal pictures, where David says I'm not allowed to wear anything else, but I don't think it does much for me, so I decided to also take pix of me in my regular clothes, so you can see the real difference, so here you can look at the blob that is my stomach now in yoga pants

lastly I just wanted to mention my dad! he is missed greatly and its unfortunate he can't be here with me to share in all the good news! I can't believe today it has been 9 years since he's past. But I know he is always here with me in his own way and I'm sure he is very happy for me
